Exodus 23:20-24
What a promise-God will destroy all of Israels enemies if they will obey Him. Of course they did not obey Him. What about else? Many times the problems we have is because of our disobedience so God allows things to happen to us.
Exodus 23:25-31
Notice the promises required total obedience. God requires total obedience from us and He will give us the ability to obey. Yes, we will fall short, but if our heart is sincere, God's mercy and grace covers our shortcomings.
Exodus 23:32-33
This is why they were to totally destroy their enemies.
Exodus 24:3,7
The people had no idea what they were saying-they were making a covenant they could not keep because they were going to do it on their own strength.
Exodus 25:1-7
The contribution of these items to help build the sanctuary can be seen as a burden or a privilege. What is your mindset in regards to helping support ministry with your finances?

God gave precise instructions on how to build the ark of the covenant. What if the people had said, 'it really don't matter'? God gives us precise instructions on how to live and how to treat our body and we say, 'it don't matter'. How dare us.

It will be obvious when Jesus returns-there is no 'secret rapture'
vs 30 the 'all things take place' and this generation most likely is talking about the first half of the prophecy regarding the destruction of the temple. When Matthew wrote this book, the destruction had already taken place so the readers would understand the prophecy in this light.
