We have great news about Carmi-she is cancer free!!!

She saw the doctor on Wed and he handed her a report regarding her pathology report. They did pathology tests on her Sentinel lymph cell and all of her breast tissue. Other than the two lumps with cancer, there was no other cancer evident. They are confident that with the mastectomy of the left breast that she has no breast cancer in her body including her lymph nodes.

They do not believe she will develop cancer in the right breast, but she is to a bi-annual checkup from now on.

Other great news is her very fast, amazing recovery. She had a drainage tube in her that was suppose to take two weeks before it could be removed. She was able to have it removed in one week-yeah!!!

Also, she was given pain medication to take, but in the first week after surgery she only needed 3 pills.

The only issue she has now is that she must get full movement back in her left arm-it is almost there, but she needs to be aggressive on getting full movement. She may need a few pain pills to work through this.

God did not miraculously heal her of cancer to prevent breast removal, but he has certainly touched her body through the use of physicians and giving her a quick recovery.

And I love my wife regardless of what surgery she has.
