I first want to say it is exciting seeing so many of you blogging. I wish I had more time to read each of your blogs. Some of you are very faithful in your blogging.

Lately we have had more new members and we need to address once again the issue of spam on blogs, reading the User Guide, and using the FAQ section. I keep getting e-mails with basic questions that can easily be answered by reading the resources we provide. So please read the User Guide and FAQ before e-mailing with a question. There are links at the summary page and listed below are the links.

What is the Summary Page? It is the main page for ChristianBlogSites-www.christianblogsites.com/blog. It has a list of the newest blogs, most active blogs, links to all blogs, etc.

Regarding spam, we have provided many plug-ins to block spam. Some of them are installed by us, but there are others that you as a member must install anti-spam plug-ins also if you are going to allow comments on your blog. They only take 5 minutes to install. Just go to the FAQ Sections and type in spam to learn more.
BTW, we have members who think because they have anti-spam software on their local computer they do not need to worry about spam on their blog. Think about it-your blog is not on your computer, it is on our remote sever, so you must install the anti-spam plugins that we provide.

Regarding the e-mail subject, we are going to be upgrading the blog software to the latest version on October 13-15. Hopefully it is all completed by October 14, but we suggest not using the blog service until we give you notice that all upgrades have been done and have been tested. During the upgrade you will not lose any data, but your blogs will not lose correct.

With the new software there will be many new features that will make blogging easier and even more protection against spammers, hackers, etc.
