Is it just me, or is it irritating to others, some of the ads that are on Christian radio stations? I know some of the radio stations have syndicated shows that come with advertising that the station has no control over if they run the syndicated shows. But then, some of the syndicated shows hosts claim to be Christians.

What do you think about Christian radio stations that run ads for TV shows/movies that are questionable? What about ads for all the different diet pills? What about the latest ad that is out regarding if your child is not tall enough, you can get pills that will make then grow faster and taller?

Here is what I see as the sad part. The Christian radio stations would not have these ads unless the advertisers believed that they could get customers from the Christian listening audience-which tells us something about the Christian audience:

1. They must watch questionable TV Shows/movies that promote anti-Christian themes.

2. They want ineffective, unhealthy fast weight loss through pills instead of eating healthy and exercising.

3. They are willing to risk the health of their child so that the child grows faster-encouraging vanity within their children.

Is the goal to walk in purity and holiness legalism? Some say so. It is much easy to to put labels instead of to debate logically. Legalism is to try and follow rules and regulations by your own strength and believing that following the rules you will gain God's favor. True holy living is based upon the concept that I love God and have a desire to reflect the character of Jesus, so I walk in holiness by the power of the Holy Spirit. Scripture says I will either be a slave to sin or to righteousness.
