The legislature today in Washington State voted to include sexual preference has a protected class like race, national origin, religion, and sex. The bill passed with one vote.

By passing the bill, the legislature is saying that a person's sexual orientation is not a choice-people cannot help it if they are homosexual.

If you take the position of this new law and take it to its logical conclusion, then God must be a very cruel God. He makes people homosexual (they have no choice in their orientation) and then calls what they do sin and requires them to repent of something they cannot repent of.

There is some good news in the midst of this. The bill passed by one vote, so that means many Washingtonians do not agree with the bill. This goes leverage for a referendum to repeal the bill.

Or, it can be seen that God is making it clear that we all need to be more assertive in getting the gospel to more people.
