Our main focus at The Hill for Jesus is for the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, but our ministry is not limited to Capitol Hill. We share the message of hope, give counsel, provide practical help wherever there is a need in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, local jails/prisons, the public arena, the Internet, and via telephone. We have helped to get drug dealers and addicts off the street, people into detox and treatment centers, individuals going back to church, stopped people from committing suicide, feed and clothed the homeless, and much more.

The following is what has taken place in the last year.

· Church services in Snohomish County Jail once a month. Visit people in jail at King County Jail or the Regional Justice Center in Kent. Visit individuals at local prisons or work release program. Talk on the phone with individuals who are in jail.

· Worked with the courts and probation on behalf of individuals who are trying to start fresh with their life. Work withed housing authorities, mental health agencies, and other government agencies to help individuals get off the street and get the help they need.

· Visiedt with people at their home to give them spiritual guidance and to pray with them. Counseedl over the phone with individuals who have gone to one of our ministry websites and they are seeking to grow in Jesus or are spiritual seekers that have not made a commitment to Christ. Over the last year we have counseled individuals who have been depressed, suicidal, struggling with anger issues, victims of abuse, struggling with behaviors like eating disorders, drug addiction, pornography addiction, and much more.

· Provided meals, clothing, temporary shelter for the homeless. We have had the homeless at our studio apartment to take a shower, receive a meal, to kick heroin, and to have a safe place to sleep for a few days.

· Shown videos as a means to discuss spiritual principles, provided opportunities for individuals to do art work as a means of being away from the craziness of street life and to build rapport with the homeless, addicted, and mentally ill.

· Provided transportation to church, personal appointments, and to move.

· Provide drama, skits, music as a means to share the gospel.

· Prayer and intercession for the community and the individuals we minister to wherever they may live.

· Helped individuals to get into detox and treatment centers. Taken individuals to the hospital.

· Shared our vision with others.

· Ministered to individuals at the church altar.

· Attended leadership and staff meetings.

Along with all of the above, we have seeked God’s will and direction for our life. Allowing the Holy Spirit to mold and shape us. Submitting our lives to godly leadership. Being willing to sacrifice our finances and our lives for the sake of souls.

Over the last year we have been used by the Lord, but we have much more to do. Over the last year, God has been transforming our lives, and we realize we need more of His power and anointing.

It is now time for us to build a larger team of people who want to reach Capitol Hill and the world.

It is our goal this year to start a Ministry Center on Capitol Hill. We will post more on this soon.
