My Thoughts on Current Events

As spare time allows (the little I have), I will starting posting my viewpoints on current events, politics, etc. I hope we can get some interaction from others.
My first topics will be on the Abramoff's scandal, Israel's situation, and mega churches. Everything I share will be the perspective of a Chrisitan worldview.

A couple of things my husband and I have discussed lately, has been the subtle "warming up" of the U.S.'s relationship with China, and also we wonder if the t.v. show (I can't remember the name) that has the woman president is to try and get Americans used to the idea of a woman president, i.e. Hilary Clinton.
Don't know if those are topics that are too "hot", but just ones we've talked about...ones we have Christian concerns about.

I don't see any topic as too 'hot'. As Christians we should be able to explore all topics.
Yes, we may have to agree to disagree on some topics. But I think if we explore these matters in the light of scripture and biblical principles, we will find that there will usually be common ground.
The problem is the extreme conservatives and liberals who are legalists or sloppy agape people. But then that is a whole other topic.
What I am hoping is to stir up some discussion and that people will start using the Christian Forum:
