I shared on a discussion board about a skit that we did with the song Lay'em Down. It really touched someone so I will share it here also.

I did this song as a skit with our church youth group. I was Jesus and lip synch the chorus. The youth wore backpacks that said unforgiveness, bitterness, sexual sin, addictions, etc. Each of them would look at me and then walk up to the cross and lay the back packs and their chains down.

The girl with unforgiveness stood at the corss but would not lay the chains down. In fact she would grab the backpacks from some of the others. At the end of the song I pleaded with her and she finally dropped everything and then we embraced. It was powerful.

Afterwards I gave a message on being set free.
