Right when it appeared that Carmi and I were getting a breakthrough financially, mentally, spiritually, relationship wise, etc. all hell came after us again. The flames were high and the heat was turned up to the maximum.

The only way we survived was we kept reminding ourselves that there was a fourth man in the furnace.

There was a couple of days I was hit with depression, temptation to use drugs, extreme lust, hatred toward Carmi. Carmi was hit with rebellion, bitterness, hopelessness, and hatred toward others. Financially, the extra money we earned, got gobbled up.

The devil always goes too far. If we had only been hit with a couple of things we would think that it was all about us. We certainly could stumble and fall in these areas. But to have it all at once when we are serving God, it was obvious it was straight from the pit of hell. It took us a couple of days to work through it, but we are on the other side. Praise God that we did not act out all that we were feeling.

Our relationship is now better than before the fire. The Lord has used the attacks of the enemy to fine tune us so that we may be mature heirs to receive the blessings our Heavenly Father has for us.
