I first want to say it is exciting seeing so many of you blogging. I wish I had more time to read each of your blogs. Some of you are very faithful in your blogging.

Lately we have had more new members and we need to address once again the issue of spam on blogs, reading the User Guide, and using the FAQ section. I keep getting e-mails with basic questions that can easily be answered by reading the resources we provide. So please read the User Guide and FAQ before e-mailing with a question. I went to pick my wife up at work and then they had her stay for a staff meeting. So I decided to go to the library and try to get some work done online. Well, after not knowing in my head some of my passwords, no allowable access at the library for some of sites, ... Here I am actually psoting to my blog.

Per our Summary Page, per our Policy Guidelines, per our postings, per numerous e-mails we have told members to install the anti-spam software. It only takes a few minutes. Yet members continue to not do it.

Effective immediately any sites with spam will be permanently deleted within 12 hours of us finding spam-no matter what! Any site that has been warned in the past will be deleted immediately.

Within two weeks we will be upgrading this site with the latest software that will make it almost impossible for spam tro occur-until then please help us keep this site spam free. I volunteer hours upon hours to keep this site free and either members start taking a few steps to help out or we will need to shut this site down.

For some time we have needed to upgrade this blog site to the latest software. It is one of those things I hate having to do because of the time it takes, because the site will be down, and there seems to always be issues. However, the upgrade is overdo and we must get it done before the end of the month. Now it is time to share the bad news.
