Status on ML

ML is the woman has been a drug addict and a prostitute most of her life.

Out of all the women we have worked with over the years, she has been the most time consuming. While I was out of town for a week, my wife and Terry (he just celebrated one year of sobriety) did much to help her stay clean and to grow in Christ. She has many issues because of the abuse in her early years and the lifestyle she has lived.

Trip to see mom and son
administrator | February 18, 2006 07:58

I went to the Los Angeles area to visit with my mother and my son. My mother just went into a convalescent hospital after going to the hospital several times and my son was getting hernia surgery right after joining the Marines.

My brother was concerned that my mom may not be around much longer and I have not seen her for a long time. My son moved to Oregon almost two years ago and then shipped out to boot camp in San Diego a couple months ago. So, it was time to see both of them, even though it was not very convenient for me.

Strictly enforcing policy
administrator | February 07, 2006 22:14

We continue to have blogs that have spam on them, blog owners not removing spam or implementing spam prevention plug-ins. We also continuously have individuals who create blogs but do not do anything with them.

To be honest we are tired of sending out e-mails informing blog owners to take of spam, reminding owners of blog policies, etc.

Effectively immediately, we are no longer going to give warnings about deleting blogs. If a blog is out of policy, if spam is not removed, blogs are created and left inactive, we will delete blogs with no warning.

Hypocrisy among Christian Leaders
administrator | February 06, 2006 15:57

I have been posting lately about Christians and conservatives ignoring failure or winking at sin among their troops-specifically regarding political leaders. In our next post we will talk about another topic, but I ran across a couple of news articles as I was doing some web work for a client and I cannot let it slide. Most Christians leaders and conservatives ignored the entire issue. It is in regards to William J. Bennett, a strong proponent for moral values.

"The secret if success is to start from scratch and keep on scratching."
From God's Little Instruction Book
And the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance.
Luke 8:15 NASB

Forgiving Enemies

"If we could read the secret history of our enemies, we should find in each man's life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility."
--Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Commentary
Too many people are focused on their wounds and pain to do this. They rather focus on their hurts and sufferings instead of the pain of another individual. Many rather rehearse their past, than get over their past.
