We are excited to announce that one of the gentlemen we met during one of our homeless feeds will be sober for one year on 1/28.

When we met Terry he was your typical 'gutter drunk'. Terry was not only an alcoholic put a drug addict. He certainly did not look, smell, or act like a person who would be able to live a sober life.

Over and over again Carmi and I are amazed at how we can do so much to help people to change their lives and they continue to make wrong decisions.

They may come to church and there will be the presence of God. The sermon will be just what they need. We may get a special appnt for them for housing, treatment, etc. Yet they make wrong choices or sabotage what we do for them.

We had the radio interview with Rick Wood, a self-proclaimed secular humanist and atheist. We talked about the Proof of a Historical Jesus. You can listen to the interview and read about it at:

The interviewer had a family emergency so he had to canel the interview until tomorrow. This gives more time for prayer, more time for me to add more valuable info on the website and an opportunity for God to reveal Himself to the interviewer during this family emergency. The reality is it may not be a family emergency, he may have not been ready for the interview. Either way it gives more time for the Holy Spirit to work.

We have had our cell group meeting for the last two weeks at the building that we are renting on Wednesdays. We normally have 5 people attend. We can now work on having several more.

Starting this Wednesday we will be showing videos and discussing spiritual principles found in the movies. Afterward we will be doing our cell group. We will also be available for spiritual counseling. We have given out over 50 flyers to the homeless. Next week we will be handing out flyers for the general public.
