The latest upgraqde of blog software has been released. So next week we will be upgrading the blog site.
There are some great new features for members, but more importanty, there are grest features to help keep the site spam free, so we can spend more time doing other things that dealing with spam jerks.
It was our goal to upgrade the blog site wiht the latest software today but there has been a change of plans.
We just found a bug in the upgrade software and will wait until tech support fixes the bug. Plus it looks like there will be an upgraded upgrade available next week.
So keep on blogging for now.
Carmi had her surgery on Tuesday night. It was a great success. Sad that she had to have a masectomy but thrilled that the doctor did not have to touch the lymph nodes. As of now he believes she has no other cancer whatsoever and she will not need to have chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, or radiation therapy. She is done with all treatment.
She was very dizzy and nausea yesterday, but doing great today and back home. She has had very minor pain so has not been on any pain killers at all-Praise God!
When we do the upgrade next weekend we will be permanently deleting any blog sites that only have the congratulations post int them. So if you want to keep your blog you will need to make sure you have a current post in your blog.
The upgrade will be occurring on Friday, October 13, so we ask that no blogging take place that day and thereafter until we notify all members that the upgrade has been completed.
I first want to say it is exciting seeing so many of you blogging. I wish I had more time to read each of your blogs. Some of you are very faithful in your blogging.
Lately we have had more new members and we need to address once again the issue of spam on blogs, reading the User Guide, and using the FAQ section. I keep getting e-mails with basic questions that can easily be answered by reading the resources we provide. So please read the User Guide and FAQ before e-mailing with a question. There are links at the summary page and listed below are the links.
