After much prayer, fasting, and reading, Carmi and I have decided for her to not have surgery even though she is not healed (as far as symptoms) right now. (More)

Carmi is scheduled for a mastectomy on April 1. We are asking God to remove all breast cancer.

There a couple of decisions she must make.

1. Does she demand the doctors to do another test prior to surgery to see if she does not have cancer and if the results are negative she then can stop the surgery.

2. Does she cancel the surgery because she believes God will heal her even if it is not by August 1.

There is a young man that we are mentoring. He has many issues and can be a real challenge. I feel like I have to continually 'ride on him' to keep him from making bad choices. I wrote him a letter explaining to him the various areas of his life that need to be changed and how some of these changes can take place. (More)

This week I am fasting and praying for a variety of items. I will only be drinking liquids. I have done this at various times, but for some reason I feel the liquid fast will be harder than normal. (More)

Yesterday a friend called me about setting up a time to walk the streets to do ministry. I told him "I am way behind on work and will need to get back to him." He said, "If I was to put a dollar in the bank every time you say you are behind, I would be rich."

His statement got me thinking. It seems that no matter how many no's I say, there are many more circumstances where I am saying yes.
