I am doing much better in my attitude, but not over the hump yet. Just had another indvidual that we have been working with who is making bad choices. It can be so trying at times.

It doesn't help when finances are very low because of lack of work and time taken to help people who ultimatelys till choose to make wrong choices. The good news is that I have learned a long time ago to not let other people's wroing choices influence me to make wrong choices.

We have an OK from Victory Life Center (VLC) board to sign a contract with the Ethiopian Church in Capitol Hill regarding the annex building that we want to use on Wednesdays. Our plan is to use it 7/24 when we have the funds. We do not currently have funds ($200 a month) for using the building on Wednesdays other than for 2 weeks, but we are trusting they will come in.

Without having a building on Capitol Hill, we are very limited in what we can do, so we are glad to be able to take this first step towards a building.

The Lord has arranged another divine appointment to help somebody.

A lady at our church who works as an Emergency Room nurse in Harborview has been letting people know about our ministry and handing out business cards.

We had a woman give us a call saying is starting the process of recovery and she heard that we can help her grow spiritually.

This morning was one of the roughest mornings I have had in a very long time. I was feeling depressed, discouraged, angry, irritated, frustrated.

This is right after preaching a powerful sermon last night at a church I was invited to. This is the first time (other than at the jail) that I have preached someplace other than at my home church.

Just prior to going to the church Carmi and I had a heavy conflict (because of my attitude on something). We had a variety of other obstacles prior to getting to the church. I made sure my heart was right before preaching and God honored that. I have been asked to come back and preach in January.

We are going to start blogging about The Hill for Jesus Ministry. We will be sharing the struggles, challenges, victories, or whatever is on our mind.
